The Compensation

  • $130,000/Annual Base Salary with Bonus Potential

The Location

  • Primary client location in Rock Hill, SC with other offices in Charlotte, NC and Winston-Salem; remote work permitted up to 85% of the time with onsite requirement up to 1-2 times per month.

The Role

  • Provide full time project support to the client’s large enterprise healthcare customer.
  • Follow Professional Services Plan/Design/Implement/Operate (PDIO) implementation methodology, including High-Level Architecture Diagrams, Functional Capabilities, highlight customer prerequisites, and track deliverable dates and timelines for “Go Live” for solutions.
  • Define User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Functional Validation criteria within a Method of Procedure (MOP) document.
  • Take charge of creation and maintenance of project documentation during implementation.
  • Act as technical lead and trusted advisor to the customer during implementation.
  • Responsible as liaison between sales, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Engineering, Global Technical Assistance Center (GTAC) as required, and customer during implementation.
  • Work with partners and sales staff to implement solutions and provide knowledge transfer as required for the defined solution.
  • Maintain excellent knowledge on all product suites.
  • Escalate any customer issues to GTAC, Account Team and Management in a timely and cohesive manner.

The Background Profile

  • US Citizenship or Permanent Residency required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 6-10 years of advanced experience in networking technologies with industry and regional knowledge and experience
  • Experience with VOSS/BOSS and Campus Fabric (SPBM – Shortest Path Bridging) OR with Avaya ERS & VSP-Fabric products
  • In-depth knowledge of at least 5 of the following networking technologies: Network Access Control (NAC), Domain Name System (DNS), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), Wireless, IPv4/v6, Routing Protocols (e.g. RIPv2/v3,OSPFv2/v3, VRRP, MPLS, BGP, PIM), and Layer2 Switching (e.g. 802.1Q, 802.1 D, 801.x)
  • Network/Information Technology Certifications desired (e.g. CCNA, CISSP, CCIE, CWTS/CWNA)
  • COVID-19 vaccination required as condition of employment
  • Ability to work both remotely (apx. 85%) and onsite (up to 1-2 times per month) at any of the healthcare customer’s offices based in Rock Hill, SC, Charlotte, NC, and Winston-Salem, NC

  • Thorough knowledge and proven experience with implementation and maintenance of the Wireless Solutions using related Access Points (AP)
  • Thorough understanding of Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP), Remote Authentication Dial-In User Service (RADIUS), and Active Directory Services used for Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting (AAA) within NAC solutions
  • Hands-on experience using security-related toolsets
  • Strong skills in troubleshooting and problem resolution in a network environment (including use of Packet Capture (PCAP), WireShark, and some wireless Radio Frequency (RF) Analysis tools – Ekahau preferred)
  • Keen ability to understand and analyze customer requirements and position the solution effectively
  • Ability to effectively implement products and solutions in a mission critical environment within a scheduled downtime or with no downtime
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex customer interactions in difficult circumstances and control customer expectations in order to maintain satisfied customers through the use of Project Plans, Design Diagrams, Procedure documentation, Managing coordination with other disciplines (Firewall and OS Teams) to ensure smooth implementations and full awareness of delivery timelines and capabilities a must
