The Company

  • The company creates ultraviolet-light disinfection devices as a human and animal safe countermeasure for airborne or surface pathogens and infectious disease.
  • Recipient of contracts and aw´╗┐ards from NASA, the US Army and most recently the US Air Force with potential to contract with other military and/or government agencies in light of COVID-19 and other biological threats.
  • Currently seeking an experienced HVAC professional as a Field Manager to help install or be a resource for our external partners for fixtures in applications ranging from schools to military bases, medical and dental clinics or hospitals, elderly care facilities, offices, elevators, professional sporting facilities, buses, airports, restaurants and more.

The Role

  • Evaluate existing facility HVAC systems and Air Changes per Hour (ACH)
  • Install Krypton Disinfection Lighting devices (resembling hard wired smoke detectors)
  • Provide customer support for external HVAC and electrical contractors, installers and distributors
  • Respond to service calls and diagnose issues
  • Make corrections and fix problems
  • Troubleshoot faults, short circuits and inoperable devices and equipment fish wire in closed access and limited access situations 
  • Assist in other activities as needed including the assembly of units

The Background Profile

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalency required
  • Minimum of 3-5+ years of commercial experience
  • Must have extensive knowledge of American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE)and National Electrical Code (NEC)
  • Ability to use basic hand tools
  • Must be able to pass a background check and maintain a clean driving record
  • Ability to function as a team player who is willing and able to assist on projects as needed
  • Dependable, reliable and able to work independently with limited supervision
  • Willing and able to commute or relocate to Kansas City, MO facility
  • COVID vaccination required as and compliance with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements and guidelines, standards, and precautions for health and safety

The Compensation

  • $65,000 – $80,000/Year Base Salary, Commensurate Based on Experience
