This role will support the organization by focusing highly skilled efforts in selling AI-enabled solutions to new and existing clients through partnerships with federal system integrators, value added resellers and partners by securing relationships with qualified targets and decision makers to uncover opportunities, developing effective sales strategies, and managing the full sales cycle.

The Role

  • Lead business development efforts within core accounts and new business opportunities across all commercial segments for the company’s AI-enabled solutions.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle for all AI solution offerings.
  • Develop understanding of the company’s portfolios and offerings to be conversant and knowledgeable in the company’s capabilities.
  • Develop understanding of partner organizations’ Federal Systems Integrator (FSI) and Value Added Reseller (VAR), contracts and pursuits, and key personnel resulting in revenue generating opportunities.
  • Identify target contacts and relationships within potential clients and conduct initial conversation(s) to explore opportunities.
  • Run a disciplined sales pipeline including lead management and qualification, bringing established sales methods to the sales process.
  • Maintain extensive knowledge of the current market conditions.
  • Support pre-sales efforts leveraging depth of product knowledge/product demonstrations tailored to client environment.
  • Provide regular reporting of pipeline and accurate forecasts.
  • Participate in key industry events to build relationships and develop business opportunities.

 

The Background Profile

  • US Citizenship
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications, or relevant field
  • Ability to obtain and hold a TS-SCI clearance
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant AI or analytics sales experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in federal government sales
  • Previous experience in partner/channel sales is a plus
  • Consistent track record of being a top performer and hitting or overachievement of sales quotas and goals
  • Experience selling emerging technologies, analytics, data, databases, predictive modeling, SaaS or business intelligence software
  • Completion of training in Solution/Value Selling Methodologies
  • Experience winning new business and building territories
  • Ability to successfully handle and manage the full sales cycle
  • Ability to develop and secure relationships with buyers, decision makers, influencers and other referral sources across a variety of industries
  • Proficiency with internal software and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools (e.g. Salesforce)
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and ability to engage with a variety of internal and external customers

  • Success in working closely with service line leaders, partners, practitioners and other Senior Executives to develop strategies and tactics that drive targeting programs and win business

The Compensation

  • $300,000 Total Compensation Package Including Base Salary + Competitive Performance-Based Bonus Structure
